Bernie Williams was the Yankees’ starting centerfielder from 1993 to 2005 and got shoved out by a better player.

Don’t be such a baby. Baseball is a business and it is not personal. Don’t pout. Just come back to Yankee Stadium, where you gave us thrills and chills with your talent and let us give you a rousing cheer for what you help the team accomplish. You deserve it.

The Yankees invited to participate in a game on Aug 2 for Oldtimers but he had a vacation planned and said he couldn’t attend.

Ok, so you’re busy once. After all you are retired.

He was invited to pull the lever for the countdown but declined that too.

We aren’t going to continue to beg. Do it this year in YOUR stadium.
